North West Public Meetings
In order to afford members of the public an opportunity to comment on the draft modifications to the Waste Management Plan, a series of public meetings have been organised throughout the region. The dates and locations for these meetings are as follows:

At the public meeting, a short presentation will be made on the draft modifications, which will summarise the key measures aimed at assisting the Councils to meet their targets. These are waste prevention; recycling and composting; materials recovery, energy recovery and disposal to landfill. The presentation will be followed by a question and answer session. The North West Region Waste Management Group would encourage the general public to attend one of the public meetings. |
